2013 Moscow Challenge

John successfully completed the Moscow Challenge and is back home.

After the success of the 2011 UK Coastal Challenge John is off again.
This time to Moscow via Norway and Sweden. Please see the route plan below or on our facebook page. Look out for the pillion passenger - his name is Eeyore.
Route date? Well its was the 4th July 2013, to celebrate the formal opening of the Trust on 4th July 2011.
We are a no overheads charity, so 100% of the donations go to the kids. Nothing will be used for admin costs or trip expenses. John travels by the seat of his pants and relies on public support to lend a hand.

John had a load of fellow bikers see him off at Lochailort on the 4th of July, but would like more to join him on route for part of the journey. Even if only for a few miles or a cheery wave, just as Kirsty had wanted on her planned UK trip.
He set off and travelled south to the ferry in Hull. Netherlands and Germany under his belt, John drove into Denmark on Sunday 7th July, heading North up into the Norwegian mountains to cut across into Sweden. Big fat bloke on wee 10hp bike. His lawn mower is 13hp so that gives some idea of the magnitude of this feat.
If the bike breaks down John has pledged to push it until some fellow bikers or mechanical person comes along to assist.
No cash from donations made in aid of Kirsty's Kids will ever be used for administration or expenses on this charity fundraising event. Even fuel will be purchased from personal funds or jerry can donations like last time.
